1. Customer Cancellation
User may choose to cancel the service booked. However, subject to User’s previous cancellation history, Mantra reserves the right to deny any refund to User pursuant to a cancellation initiated by User followed by suspension of account, as may be necessary in the sole discretion of Mantra.
If User cancels his/her Booking after placing it, Mantra shall have a right to collect a penalty of 100% of the Order amount for breach of contract terms as a compensation for the damages suffered by Mantra, with a right to either not to refund the Booking value in case User’s Booking is prepaid or recover from the User’s subsequent Booking in case his/her Booking is postpaid, to compensate the Temples and Purohits.
2. Non-Customer Cancellation
Mantra reserves the right to collect a penalty for the Bookings constrained to be cancelled by Mantra for reasons not attributable to Mantra, including but not limited to:
In the event if the address provided by User is either wrong or falls outside the serviceable zone;
Failure to contact User by phone or email at the time of service execution
Failure to execute service User Booked due to lack of information, direction or authorization from User at the time of execution
Unavailability of the services or purohits booked by User at the time of booking. However, in the unlikely event of service or purohit in an Booking being unavailable, Mantra will contact the User on the phone number provided to us at the time of Booking and inform User of such unavailability. In such an event User will be entitled to cancel the entire Booking and shall be entitled to a refund to an amount up to 100% of the Booking value.
In case of cancellations for the reasons attributable to Mantra or the Temple or Purohit, Mantra shall not collect any penalty from the User.
User may be entitled to a refund for prepaid Orders. Mantra retains the right to retain the penalty payable by the User in Section I(2) from the amount refundable to him/her.
Our decision on refunds shall be final and binding.
All refund amounts shall be credited to User’s account as may be stipulated as per the payment mechanism of User’s choice, the estimated timelines are detailed as below,
